Job Title:         Income Officer
Type:               Temporary 6-9 months
Location:         Home Working with site visits in Bristol
Salary:            £18.87 paye and £2.28 holiday pay per hour
Hours:             Part Time (3 days a week)
 
BRC are working exclusively with a charity in the West and South to recruit an experienced Income Officer to support with eviction, court and possession processes on a temporary basis.
 
Duties:

• Maintain and update the NOSP/Eviction tracker accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and manage all court paperwork and legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all stages.
• Create, update and manage case bundles for court hearings.
• Liaise with tenants and landlords, ensuring all parties are fully aware of key dates and required actions throughout the legal process.
• Once possession has been awarded, ensure correct procedures are followed and all relevant forms are submitted within required timescales.
• Attend properties on the date of possession with the appropriate Housing Officer to confirm whether the tenant has vacated.
• Manage and submit Bailiff applications and track progress.
• Attend evictions with Court Bailiffs where required.

 
Requirements:

• Proven experience working on court cases, evictions and possession proceedings.
• Demonstrable experience preparing case bundles and legal documentation for court.
• Confident working independently in a home-based role with site visits.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with tenants, landlords, courts and internal teams.
