We’re recruiting for a within an established Private Equity firm which are very well respected and known for promoting career development and mobility.
Working closely with the the Financial Controller, this role will suit someone who really enjoys the analysis and painting a picture of the business performance from a height.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monthly and quarterly sales performance reporting and analysis
· Flash performance analysis
· Ad-hoc analysis on performance of various businesses within the group
· Monthly management reporting (includes Financial Performance Review Pack, ALCO Pack, CFO Reports)
· Commercial business partnering and ad hoc analysis to enable optimal business decision making
· Lots of ad-hoc decision support analysis and Business Partnering to senior stakeholders in the business
Qualifications and Experience:
· Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-3 years’ experience within FP&A
· Having previous experience within a Private Equity firm or a financial services business is key
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to articulate the drivers of financial performance to business stakeholders (‘tell the story’)
· Ability to work with stakeholders to optimise performance / harness opportunities / mitigate risks.
· Strong excel skills
