A world - leading Financial Services trading group are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.
  
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a fast‑paced, international trading environment as an Accounts Assistant. You’ll be part of a busy corporate accounting team working closely with colleagues across finance, treasury, reporting, and trade accounting functions
  
  
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collating month‑end reports and updating internal databases
• Posting ad‑hoc purchase invoice journals
• Interest postings, and reporting on bonds and guarantees
• Monitoring debtor balances and following up on outstanding items
• Cash matching and unmatching, including bad debt provision postings
• Supporting monthly intercompany reconciliations and resolving mismatches
• Assisting with VAT checks, matching and reconciliations
• Preparing and posting contingency and storage premium costs
• Assisting with annual audit evidence collation

  
What You’ll Bring

• Recent graduate  or part‑qualified and working toward accounting exams
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Numerically strong with good analytical ability
• A collaborative team player
• Resilient and adaptable
• Proactive, with the confidence to suggest improvements
• Able to multitask and prioritise effectively
