Our client is a rapidly growing and fast paced FinTech with interests in financial markets technology and insurance with a requirement for a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will support the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce full monthly management accounts and value add reporting.
Support with the budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
Process journals for various entities, reconcile balance sheets and maintain accurate financial records.
Reconcile bank accounts and be responsible for the accounts payable process.
Pull together financial data across various business lines and support the annual audit.
Work on process improvements and ad hoc finance projects.
Skills & Qualifications
ACCA/CIMA Finalist with at least 2/3 years relevant accounting experience including producing end-to-end monthly management accounts.
Solid understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and accounting standards.
Sage Intacct knowledge would be a benefit but is not essential.
Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivots, data manipulation).
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Able to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
Strong communicator able to explain financial information clearly.
