Our client is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join a growing land development and site design team in Asheville, NC. This is an opportunity to play a key role in expanding a local office while working with the support and resources of an established engineering firm. The ideal candidate is a hands-on civil engineer with strong technical design experience and a desire to take on meaningful responsibility in a collaborative environment.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Lead site design efforts including site layout, grading, and earthwork calculations
• Design utility infrastructure systems, including water, sewer, and stormwater management plans
• Develop high-quality construction documents and engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Support projects through the full lifecycle from concept development through permitting and approvals
• Collaborate closely with local leadership and a broader multidisciplinary engineering team

  
Required Qualifications

• 2–10 years of professional experience in land development or civil site engineering
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Demonstrated experience with grading, drainage, and utility design
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• Licensed EIT or PE, or actively progressing toward licensure
