Our client is a growing, self-performing civil contractor based in Palm Coast, FL, delivering site development and roadway projects across Northeast Florida. With capabilities spanning underground utilities, earthwork, concrete, and asphalt paving, they operate with a hands-on, production-driven approach.

They are seeking a Project Engineer to support field and project management teams across multiple civil projects ranging from $5–10M. 

This role involves coordinating RFIs and submittals, tracking quantities and costs, supporting scheduling efforts, managing documentation, and working closely with superintendents and field crews. The ideal candidate will have exposure to utilities, earthwork, concrete, and paving operations, and be comfortable in both office and field environments. 

Requirements:

• 1–5+ years experience in civil construction (Project Engineer / Field Engineer / APM)
• Experience on site development, roadway, utilities, earthwork, concrete, or asphalt projects
• Exposure to self-performing construction operations
• Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, cost tracking, and scheduling
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with field teams and ownership
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• Must be located within 1 hour of Palm Coast, FL
