Safety Manager – Civil Construction (Clyde, NC)
A growing heavy civil contractor is looking to bring on an experienced Safety Manager to support infrastructure projects in the Clyde, NC area. This role will focus on maintaining a strong safety culture across active job sites and ensuring compliance with all OSHA and DOT safety standards.
The Safety Manager will work closely with field leadership and crews to implement safety programs, conduct site audits, lead safety meetings, investigate incidents, and help maintain proper documentation and reporting. This individual will play a key role in promoting safe work practices across multiple projects.
Ideal Background

• Experience working in construction safety, preferably on DOT, roadway, bridge, or heavy civil projects
• Familiar with OSHA regulations and jobsite safety procedures
• Comfortable working in the field with superintendents and crews
• Experience conducting safety training, audits, and incident investigations
