Contract Payroll & Benefits Manager
Contract: 6–12 months (possible extension)
Location: Omaha, NE (hybrid or remote may be considered)
Schedule: Full-time, contract

What You’ll Do: We’re looking for a hands-on Payroll & Benefits Manager to jump in and help keep things running smoothly. You’ll own payroll and benefits from end to end, partner closely with HR and Finance, and be a go‑to resource for employees and vendors alike.

Your Day-to-Day

• Run accurate, on-time payroll for employees across multiple states
• Manage employee benefits programs including health, retirement, COBRA, and leave plans
• Work directly with payroll and benefits vendors to troubleshoot issues and keep everything on track
• Partner with Finance on reconciliations, reporting, and payroll entries
• Support open enrollment and help communicate benefits clearly to employees
• Answer employee payroll and benefits questions with care and confidentiality
• Keep processes documented and help improve how we do things

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of payroll and benefits experience
• Solid understanding of multi-state payroll and benefits compliance
• Comfortable working in UKG or similar
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
• Friendly communicator who can work well with employees, vendors, and internal teams
• CPP or CBP certification is a plus, not a must
