MyStaff is partnering with a growing organization to identify a detail oriented person for a hybrid duty role.  This is open due to an internal promotion to support core accounting functions and play a key role in the month-end close process. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and transaction review to ensure accuracy and proper classification
• Support the month-end close process in partnership with leadership, delivering timely and reliable financial results
• Perform financial analysis, prepare reports and supporting schedules, and assist with audit requests and documentation
• Build financial models and analyze trends to support forecasting, budgeting, and overall business performance insights
• Assist with tax-related filings and compliance activities, including fuel and sales tax reporting, while reconciling transactional data
• Identify process improvements, support operational initiatives, and contribute to special projects as needed
• Adapt to changing business needs, including extended hours during peak close periods, while maintaining reliability and adherence to company policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and reconciliations
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
