Role: Office Team Member and Customer Service Representative
Location: Tempe, AZ
 
Job Description:
Our client is hiring a Customer Service Representative who will report directly to our Office Manager at the company's Tempe, Arizona office headquarters.  The Customer Service Representative will support the company office and its customers.
 
Responsibilities:

• Taking orders from customers by email and telephone,
• Responding to customer emails and inquiries,
• Entering and assisting in the processing of customer orders and samples,
• Corresponding with shipping and transportation providers, and
• Completing various and routine administrative tasks.

Office Location: Company headquarters in Tempe, Arizona. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required in order to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisor, and customers.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and develop strategies to reach company goals.
• An excellent work ethic, punctuality, an upbeat personality, and a high desire to achieve are all required. 

Compensation
$33-38/hour, 40 hours a week
Unused PTO paid out at the end of each year.

Skills/Background:

• A two- or four-year college degree is preferred.
• At least five years of office experience is preferred.
• Some experience managing a small group is preferred.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word, and Adobe Acrobat Standard.
• Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is preferred.
• Experience in the chemical, manufacturing, or industrial industries is a plus but is not required. 

This is a full-time (40 hours a week) on-site position in our office.
