The Role
As a key member of the bookkeeping team, you will:
- Deliver end-to-end bookkeeping and financial administration services across a portfolio of clients
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
- Manage payroll, PAYG, superannuation and reconciliations
- Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS
- Work closely with clients to improve bookkeeping processes and systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including automation and software optimisation
- Act as a trusted point of contact for clients on day-to-day financial matters
This role offers autonomy, client interaction and the opportunity to contribute beyond core bookkeeping tasks.
What You'll Bring - Minimum 2+ years' bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accounting or professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in Xero (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of MYOB or equivalent accounting software
- Experience managing payroll, PAYG, superannuation, reconciliations and BAS/IAS
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping workflows and data accuracy
- Clear communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple clients and competing priorities
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with an interest in improving systems and processes
