About the Firm
Our client is a well-established accounting and advisory firm with multiple offices across Melbourne. They provide integrated services across tax, accounting, SMSFs and broader financial advisory, supporting individuals, families and growing businesses.
 
With a strong reputation for practical advice, long-term client relationships and consistent growth, the firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team.
 
About the Role
This role offers genuine client exposure, advisory involvement and direct access to senior leadership.
 
You will manage a portfolio of business and individual clients while working closely with Partners to ensure high-quality compliance and advisory delivery.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
• Managing compliance for companies, trusts, SMSFs and individuals
• Supporting tax planning and structuring engagements
• Liaising directly with clients and regulatory bodies
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
• Assisting in workflow management and meeting deadlines

This position offers a balance of compliance and advisory work, with structured progression opportunities.
 
About You

• CA or CPA qualified or nearing completion
• Strong public practice experience at Senior level
• Confident managing client relationships independently
• Solid technical knowledge across business services and tax
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience with Xero and cloud-based systems
