About the Firm The firm forms part of a growing national accounting group built around small, Partner-led practices supported by a centralised back office. This structure allows every Senior Accountant to:
Build and own a client portfolio ("Partner Pool")
Earn commissions equal to 20% of fees generated
Progress to partnership without paying a traditional buy-in
Operate an independent practice within the group if desired
Access group-wide admin support, processes, training, and marketing

The Opportunity As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a quality portfolio while being supported to grow your own. This role suits someone who thrives in client-facing work, values autonomy, and wants the freedom to build something meaningful over time.

A 12-person centralised client services team handling tax admin, ATO/ASIC interaction, lodgements, and workflow

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns, financial statements, BAS, and advisory deliverables
Manage relationships across a diverse SME portfolio
Provide value-driven advisory and structured tax planning
Support junior staff and contribute to the team environment
Build your own Partner Pool by winning, servicing, and retaining clients
Develop niche expertise aligned with your interests and market opportunities
Liaise with the central admin and SMSF teams to streamline workflow
Ideal Candidate
4+ years' public practice Business Services experience
CA/CPA qualified or close to completion
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
Strong technical capability and interest in advisory
Proactive, commercially minded, and self-directed
Comfortable operating in a high-autonomy model
Experience with Xero; familiarity with Confluence helpful but not required
