The Role

We are looking for a experienced Sous Chef to join our leadership team. In this crucial position, you will collaborate closely with our Head Chef to manage all facets of our kitchen operations, such as menu preparation, team supervision, and financial management. Your leadership will play a key role in upholding our kitchen's rigorous standards and cultivating a cooperative and vibrant workplace atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to create and implement innovative, high-quality menus that embody our dedication to excellent cuisine.
• Support in overseeing kitchen budgets, managing food costs, and maintaining profitability while upholding our standards of quality.
• Lead, train, and mentor new kitchen team members in culinary techniques and protocols, promoting a culture of ongoing development and enhancement.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities to ensure smooth and consistent food preparation and service.
• Evaluate and review team performance, offering constructive feedback and guidance to foster their career advancement.

Our Ideal Candidate: 

• Demonstrates a deep passion for cooking, a keen interest in quality ingredients, and a strong understanding of kitchen management and operations. 
• Possesses substantial experience leading teams as Sous Chef level in large, high-volume Restaurants with a proven track record of success. 
• Shows a genuine interest in developing, nurturing, and training team members, with a focus on building their capabilities and confidence. 
• Is highly organised, responsible, and hands-on in the kitchen, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
