About the Role 

The Financial Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all our restaurants. This role is responsible for performance reporting, financial reconciliations, and cross-functional business support.  

About you

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, providing valuable financial insights to drive business success. You need to be numerically competent, have a hands-on approach, the ability to identify errors and be self-motivated to meet deadlines.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Accurately process and record financial transactions, including invoices, receipts and payments 
• Perform regular bank transaction allocations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and financial records 
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting the preparation of documentation for audits 
• Prepare and distribute weekly KPI reports for all restaurants. 
• Manage internal recharge postings and key expense accruals. 
• Oversee inventory transfers and allocations. 
• Work collaboratively with senior members of the team to support their areas of responsibility 

• Proven experience in a similar role, with knowledge of financial processes and procedures 
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines 
• Attention to detail with analytical skills and accuracy in managing financial records 
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial data 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
