Temporary Nanny Needed in Chelsea, NYC (April – May 2025)
Location: Chelsea, Manhattan, NYC
Duration: April – May 2025
Compensation: $35–$40 per hour
 
 
A warm and welcoming family in Chelsea is seeking an experienced interim nanny for their 2.5-year-old daughter while they transition to a long-term nanny in May. Mom is currently pregnant and working from home, and the family values a structured and engaging caregiver who can seamlessly step into their daily routine.
Schedule

• Monday and Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Pick up child from school at 12:00 PM and provide afternoon care
• Prepare lunch and snacks
• Engage in developmentally appropriate activities and play
• Assist with nap time and evening transitions
• Maintain a safe, structured, and stimulating environment

Ideal Candidate

• Professional nanny experience with a minimum of three years working with toddlers
• Engaging and nurturing, able to provide age-appropriate activities and emotional support
• Reliable and adaptable, comfortable stepping into a temporary role with consistency
• CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)
• Comfortable with pets; the family has a large but gentle dog
