Full-Time French-Speaking Nanny / Mother’s Helper – Brooklyn Heights
Location: Brooklyn Heights, NY
Start Date: June 2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Compensation: $35/hour (paid via payroll)

We are assisting a vibrant and loving family in Brooklyn Heights in their search for a full-time French-speaking Nanny and Mother’s Helper. This role is perfect for a nurturing, flexible, and collaborative caregiver who thrives in a team environment. The family includes a toddler (age 1), a newborn expected soon, two affectionate cats, and an involved stay-at-home mom who seeks a true partner in the home. The grandmother will also be actively helping with the newborn, and the family values warmth, communication, and longevity in their relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Childcare Support:

• Engage the toddler in playful, developmentally appropriate activities and routines
• Provide hands-on support with the newborn, including feedings, diapering, and naps
• Help maintain a calm, structured environment and consistent daily rhythms
• Support mom in a tag-team fashion—stepping in where needed with either child

Household Assistance:

• Light tidying, kitchen cleanup, and child-related laundry
• Assist with errands including grocery shopping and dry cleaning
• Help with meal prep and general household organization

Travel:

• Occasional travel with the family, including international trips (up to 2 weeks); must have a valid passport and be travel-ready

Candidate Requirements:

• Fluent in both French and English (French fluency required for engaging with children in both languages)
• Significant professional experience with infants and toddlers
• Warm, positive demeanor and team-player mindset
• Comfortable working in a household with pets (the family has two cats)
• Non-driving role (not required to drive)

Compensation & Benefits:

• $35/hour, paid via payroll (W-2)
