Full-Time Nanny – Downtown NYC & Hamptons Summers
Location: Downtown Manhattan, NY (live-out) & Hamptons (live-in, July–August)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (Live-out in NYC, Live-in during summer in the Hamptons)
Compensation: $35/hr + benefits
 
We are assisting a warm and welcoming family based in Downtown Manhattan in their search for a full-time, experienced nanny. The family is looking for a proactive and nurturing caregiver who is passionate about childcare, highly energetic, and thrives in a team-oriented household. They have multiple children under the age of five, and another nanny and housekeeper are also part of the household team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Childcare: Provide attentive, loving care for children from newborn to school-age, focusing on routines and milestones.
• Daily Routines: Handle all aspects of the children’s care including meals, dressing, bathing, naps, laundry, and organizing their personal spaces.
• Activities & Engagement: Plan and participate in fun, age-appropriate, and outdoor activities—especially important for their active, sports-loving kids.
• Transportation & Scheduling: Accompany children to and from activities, assist with daily scheduling, and ensure punctual transitions.
• Household Support: Maintain tidiness in children’s areas, make beds, clean up after meals and activities (family has a separate housekeeper for deep cleaning).
• Teamwork: Collaborate seamlessly with another full-time nanny to ensure continuity of care and a harmonious environment.
• Travel: Must be flexible to travel, particularly to live-in during July and August in the Hamptons.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of full-time nanny experience, with a strong background in toddler care
• Must love working with young children and enjoy outdoor activities, sports, and hands-on play
• Genuinely kind, warm, and affectionate with children
• Highly organized, dependable, and a true team player
• Must be able to work long hours and keep up with a fast-paced household
• Fluent English required; additional languages a plus
• Must be comfortable working in a 5-story townhouse and around a friendly family dog

Compensation & Benefits:

• $35/hour, paid on the books
• Health stipend provided
• 2 weeks paid time off
• Paid holidays or time-and-a-half if worked
