Weekend Nanny Needed for Energetic West Village Family
Friday 3 PM – Sunday Evening | Live-in preferred, open to live out if someone wanted to sleep at home / Summer Weekends in the Hamptons
 
A relaxed yet busy family in the West Village is seeking a kind, firm, and energetic weekend nanny to care primarily for their lively 2.5-year-old daughter while supporting their two older children (ages 9 and 7) as needed. With a new baby arriving in August, this role will grow to include light infant care starting January 2026.
 
The Schedule

• Fridays: Start at 3:00 PM
• Saturdays & Sundays: Begin at 6:30 AM with about a 13 hour day.
• Summer Weekends: Live-in in the Hamptons (transportation provided)
• Winter Weekends (Jan–March): Live-in in Millbrook, NY (upstate)

• Toddler, 2.5 – Your main buddy for the weekends
• Newborn arriving August 2025 – With baby nurse support through the end of the year

• Focused care for the toddler, including play, naps, and meals
• Occasional support with all three children (morning routine, bedtime, bath, meals)
• Light meal prep for the children (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• Tidy up after playtime and meals
• Occasional light travel (Hamptons, upstate NY)

• Warm, calm, and patient with firm boundaries
• Experience with multiple children and understanding of sibling dynamics. 
• A true team player who can communicate well with weekday staff
• Comfortable in busy, loving households with active children
• Flexible for overnights, summer travel, and early starts

• Target: $40–$45/hr, depending on experience and fit.
