About Us

St Catherine’s Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located at St Catherine’s Primary School within the Upper Mt Gravatt / Wishart Parish. We proudly provide high-quality care for up to 120 children from both St Catherine’s Primary School and Wishart State School.

This is a casual position offering flexible hours, during term time with opportunities to work during Vacation Care and across multiple services.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator

• Provide nurturing, high-quality care for children
• Create a safe, secure and welcoming environment
• Deliver engaging, inclusive recreational and educational experiences
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Work collaboratively within a supportive, established team
• Enjoy fun excursions during Vacation Care
• Finish each day knowing you’ve made a real difference

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards) – desirable but not essential.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for supporting school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place, and relevant legislation
• Effective oral and written communication skills
