Carina OSHC is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Coordinator / Educational Leader to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large, thriving service licensed for 225 children, supporting high-quality outcomes for children, families, and educators.
Working alongside and supported by two Coordinators, you will help lead our Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs, fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the leadership and daily operations of our Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs.
- Drive educational excellence by mentoring educators and guiding the planning and implementation of engaging, play-based programs aligned with children's interests and developmental needs.
- Work collaboratively with the Coordinators to lead, support, and inspire a large team of educators.
- Foster positive and respectful relationships with children, families, school staff, and the wider community.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, reflective practice, and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and quality standards, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all children.
- Contribute to service planning, administration, and operational requirements as part of the leadership team.
Requirements of the Role: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Child Protection training is required for this role.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
