We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Support Staff Lead to join our Aged Care & Home Safety team. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll lead, coach and support a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in the community.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring services align with the Aged Care Quality Standards, while supporting staff performance, development and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coach Support Workers across your region
• Manage onboarding, probation reviews and annual performance appraisals
• Support workforce planning, including leave coordination
• Ensure staff complete mandatory and client-specific training
• Work closely with clinical teams to maintain high-quality care delivery
• Address performance issues, provide feedback, and support development
• Facilitate team meetings and contribute to a positive team culture
• Participate in an after-hours on-call roster

About You

• Experience in a leadership or senior support role within aged care, disability or community services
• Strong understanding of Aged Care Standards and relevant legislation
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
• Confident using systems for reporting and documentation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma of Nursing /Community Services (Case Management) or Ageing Studies and Services (Bachelor degree in related field is preferred)
• Current driver’s licence
• Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• First Aid & CPR
• National Police Check
• Working rights in Australia
