As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll be a trusted, friendly face helping your client feel safe, comfortable, and valued. You’ll support with daily routines, offer companionship, and create meaningful moments that truly matter.

What You’ll Do Every visit is unique — but your care and compassion will always shine through. You’ll:

• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Help with personal care, washing, dressing, and grooming
• Encourage engagement through gentle activities and shared moments
• Provide reassurance and a calm, consistent presence
• Support with everyday routines to keep your client safe and comfortable

Who You Are You’re someone who genuinely cares about others and finds purpose in making a difference. Ideally, you’ll have some experience in dementia care or supporting older adults — but more important are your qualities:

• Naturally patient, compassionate, and reliable
• A confident communicator and a good listener
• Adaptable and respectful of individual needs
• Hold a UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
• Eligible to work in the UK
