Night Care Assistant – Complex Needs Location: High Littleton
Hours: 9:00pm – 9:00am | Full-time, Part-time or Flexible shifts available
Pay: £17–£18 per hour

As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll provide one-to-one support to a resilient gentleman in his own home in High Littleton. Through your care and presence, you’ll ensure he feels safe, comfortable, and respected throughout the night.
This is a role where your calmness, attentiveness, and compassion can make the quiet hours truly meaningful.

What You’ll Do Every night is different, but your kindness makes all the difference. You’ll:

• Provide personal care and gentle repositioning to support comfort and prevent pressure sores
• Respond to non-verbal communication using facial expressions, vocalisations, and eye pointing
• Monitor for seizure activity and respond confidently following the care plan
• Support PEG/jejunostomy feeding and observe for any changes at the site
• Conduct wellbeing and safety checks throughout the night
• Keep accurate records to ensure smooth and detailed handovers

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience in complex or 1:1 care
• Knowledge of PEG feeding and seizure support (training available)
• Confidence working independently through the night
• Excellent communication skills and a patient, reassuring nature
