Children's Social Worker needed in Yorkshire. Duty and Assessment Team. £35 per hour
Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in Yorkshire, are looking for a Social Worker to work within the Duty and Assessment Team.
Position: Social Worker
Rate: £35 per hour
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Purpose:
Provide reliable effective social work to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in need.
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct working with children and families, supporting colleagues in their roles; particularly students on placement and ASYE staff.
- Achieve strong outcomes for children and young people whilst provide support to colleagues and families.
- Support with caseloads, care plans and safeguarding concerns.
- Chairing statutory meetings to provide practice guidance.
Job Requirements:
- Must has 3 years direct experience with an English LA, plus relevant Social Work experience within childrens services.
- Enhanced DBS - Registered to the update service (preferably)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Recognised Social Work Qualification
