Our Client is a global Mining Company who has been successfully been awarded contracts with various Mine Sites across Australia. As a result, they are currently seeking the services of an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their team for their Australian Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor multiple accounts and maintain accurate financial records
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Handle fortnightly payroll and support tax and superannuation compliance
• Prepare regulatory reports and ATO/State Revenue returns
• Assist with investigation and reconciliation of prior transactions

Qualifications & Experience  To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following:

• Diploma in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5 years of experience in Australian accounting/bookkeeping
• Proficiency in SAGE or Similar 
• Experience with ATO, EOM, and Australian Payroll is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
• Ability to organise and prioritize work loads
• Ability to communicate in Spanish fluently (orally and in writing) is highly advantageous
• Assist with the back - end on the Recruitment function

Position Details  
 
Location: Will be based Working-from -Home / remotely. Can be based anywhere in Australia
As it is a global company the successful person must be flexible / available to interface with internal and external stakeholders with different global timeszones.  
Days: Monday to Friday 
Contract: Casual. Temp - Perm Salary: $43.27 - $52.89 + Super
