Days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Hours Available)

Our client is seeking an organised and customer-focused Administration Officer to join their waste management team within the Perth Metro area. This is an excellent opportunity for progression within a well-established organisation offering excellent employee benefits. This role will be a 3 month casual position with potential for it to be permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming phone calls, emails and TechOne enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Provide general administrative support to managers and officers across the team.
• Format and prepare documents such as letters, memos, reports and tenders.
• Maintain digital filing systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Update and maintain internal web pages as required.
• Process utility invoices, raise purchase orders and coordinate payments within delegated authority.
• Manage bookings for events and functions in council-managed spaces.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve administrative processes.

Essential Criteria

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to develop, improve and maintain administrative systems and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability and willingness to engage in change processes.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Customer Service, or relevant experience (Highly desirable).
