Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Chartered Accounting practice based in South Perth. They are known for building long-term client relationships and delivering practical, commercially focused advice across tax, compliance and advisory services.

This is a great opportunity suited to an Intermediate or Senior Accountant looking to step into a role with real client exposure and career progression within public practice.
 
Location: South Perth
Pay Rate: $45.00 p/h - $55.00 p/h + super
Employment Type: This opportunity can be structured as temp to perm or permanent position, depending on your preference and experience.
Working Days & Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (office based only)
 
Job Details:
You will work closely with the firm's Manager and Partner, supporting a diverse client base including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, SMSFs, private groups and not-for-profits.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs
• Reviewing BAS, IAS and payroll reporting
• Assisting with tax planning, compliance reviews and year-end reporting
• Direct client liaison and responding to queries in a professional and timely manner
• Supporting advisory projects and more complex tax matters
• Assisting with workflow management and mentoring junior team members
• Supporting the bookkeeping division on more complex matters when required

Requirements:
To be considered, you will need:

• Bachelor of Accounting
• CA or CPA commenced, in progress or completed
• 3-4+ years' experience within public practice
• Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge
• Solid workpaper skills and attention to detail
• Confidence communicating with clients
• Ability to manage deadlines independently
• Experience with Xero, with XPM/Xero Tax highly regarded
• Exposure to MYOB Accountants Enterprise and FYI Docs advantageous
• Full Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
