We work closely with our client, a world-renowned aerospace company, to provide critical maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the Royal Australian Air Force's fleet, including the C-130J Hercules at RAAF Base Richmond, NSW. Our client is a leader in the aerospace industry, ensuring the operational readiness of key military aircraft through advanced maintenance and modification services.

Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to join our client's team in Richmond, NSW. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
These positions are suitable to people who are CASA licenced, EASA licenced, ex-DASA licenced and AMEs with C-130J type (or similar) experience.
Our client is committed to work with you on transitioning your licence, providing type training and the opportunity to be licenced on type for the C-130J Hercules platform.
The essential requirements
- Experience in C-130J maintenance
- Hold any of the below qualifications or greater:
- Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
- DASR 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (or previously held a licence)
- CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence
- EASA Category B Examination Credits
- Cert in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 4) (NZ)
- Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 5 or greater) (NZ)
- NVQ Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (UK)
- Craft Certificate - Aircraft Mechanics (IRE)
- Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
- Team player
- Strong attention to detail
- good written and verb skills
- Must be a citizen of one of these countries, Ireland, Philippines, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom
United States for ITAR purposes.
Additional qualifications
- Experience in a heavy maintenance environment
- Any military aircraft maintenance experience
You must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment screening which may include criminal history checks, medical, and drug and alcohol testing.
Work hours4-day work week (38 hours), Mon - Thu (6.00 am - 4.00 pm), with overtime available.
