Role Description
Structures AME required to support structural maintenance activities on Lead-In Fighter (Hawk) aircraft within a Defence-regulated environment.
The role involves structural repairs, corrosion control, fabrication and embodiment of modifications in accordance with approved maintenance data and engineering instructions.
Duties include:
- Repairing structural damage including cracks, dents and corrosion
- Sheet metal repairs and component replacements
- Installation of structural kits and modification embodiment
- Conducting structural inspections during scheduled maintenance
- Maintaining strong documentation and compliance discipline
This is a full-time permanent opportunity working a stable weekday day-shift roster.

Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience: Base or Defence maintenance structures experience (fast jet experience highly regarded)
Maintenance Qualification / Licence: Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures) – essential
Relevant MEA units required
Work Rights: Australian Citizen
Security Clearance: NV1 clearance – required
Eligibility: Defence personnel background highly regarded (RAAF preferred)
Skills: Structural repair, corrosion rectification, modification embodiment, strong documentation discipline
Attitude: Safety-first mindset, professional, compliant, strong communicator, team focused
