Role Description
Helicopter LAMEs or AMEs are required to support maintenance activities on Robinson R22 and R44 aircraft in a general aviation rotary wing environment.
The role involves carrying out routine and scheduled maintenance, inspections, and component replacements in accordance with manufacturer instructions and aviation maintenance standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately while maintaining compliance with aviation safety requirements and documentation standards.
This role is based in Caboolture, located on the lower Sunshine Coast approximately 45 kilometres north of Brisbane CBD. The area offers a strong lifestyle balance with access to beaches, national parks, sporting facilities, schools and local amenities.
The roster is Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00 with no weekend work, public holidays or shift rotations.
Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience:Helicopter maintenance experience preferred, particularly on Robinson R22 & R44 aircraft
Maintenance Qualification / Licence: CASA Part 66 licence or Certificate IV in Aeroskills – essential
Work Rights: Full Australian working rights required
Security Clearance: ASIC required
Skills: Helicopter inspection and maintenance, strong technical documentation, safe tool handling, attention to detail
Attitude: Safety-focused, reliable, proactive, team-oriented with strong communication skills
