Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking skilled and proactive Mechanical Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Defence) with experience in defence aviation. If you’re collaborative, solution-focused, and passionate about engineering, this role is for you.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, test, and maintain mechanical components and systems for defence applications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring optimal performance and system reliability.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement solutions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and technical drawings.
The Essential Requirements - Cert IV or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in defence aviation sector.
- Ability to work a day shift with flexibility for occasional afternoon shifts.
- Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Currently holds Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

only Australian citizens are eligible for these roles.
Additional qualifications We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in
Toowoomba, QLD before applying.
