Power Generation Field Technician

Now hiring an experienced Field Technician to service and repair commercial and industrial generator systems in the Omaha area and surrounding region. This role focuses primarily on Cummins and Blue Star generators and involves on-site service at healthcare, commercial, industrial, and agricultural facilities

Pay & Schedule
$40–$50/hour (depending on experience)
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot and repair diesel, natural gas, and propane generators
Service generators, transfer switches, and related equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, load banking, and full services
Use wiring diagrams and schematics for diagnostics
Communicate clearly with customers and team members
Travel locally and regionally for field service calls

What We’re Looking For
5+ years of generator or power generation experience (commercial/industrial)
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (AC/DC)
Experience with Cummins or similar generator systems
Comfortable working independently in the field

Nice to Have
Associate degree or related technical training
Diesel or power generation background

Schedule & Travel
Field-based role with regional travel
Some overnight travel may be required
