Position Overview: The Bookkeeper/Accountant will manage a range of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, tax filings, and financial reconciliations. 
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor management and payments.
• Process biweekly payroll, manage garnishments, and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements and run general ledger reports to ensure accuracy.
• Process monthly property fees, tax payments, and intercompany transactions.
• Troubleshoot tenant billing issues, credit card discrepancies, and process NSF checks.
• Maintain vendor files and update company information in the Accounting CS platform.
• Process quarterly and year-end payroll taxes, including 941, 940, W-2s, and 1099s.
• Prepare and submit company financials to the accountant and assist with year-end reporting.
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable and manage distributions and draws for companies.
• Oversee work comp, unemployment insurance, and pension deferral elections.

Qualifications:

• Strong accounting background with experience in payroll, reconciliations, and tax filings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
