Lead Blender Operator: 12-Hour Rotating Night Shift
Location: Council Bluffs, IA  
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating 12-hr nights

We are seeking a Lead Blender Operator to oversee production in the Blending department. In this role, you’ll lead a team of operators, coordinate production activities, and ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• As the Lead Blender Operator you will lead and support a team of production operators within your zone.
• Coordinate production schedules to meet daily targets.
• Maintain high quality standards and perform required quality checks.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and address potential hazards.
• Oversee machinery and equipment, coordinating maintenance as needed.
• Implement process improvements using Lean principles to boost efficiency.
• Track production performance, KPIs, and report to management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or process improvement is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and move throughout a manufacturing facility.

The Lead Blender Operator is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working directly with production teams to drive results, safety, and quality.
