Maintenance Mechanic II – Packaging
Pay: $28–$34/hour DOE | Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to support packaging operations in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and minimizing line downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot machinery issues; perform setups and changeovers
• Reduce downtime within assigned production zone
• Maintain and adjust low-voltage components (photo-eyes, sensors, proximity switches)
• Perform 3-phase wiring and basic control circuit work
• Support machinery installation and preventive maintenance tracking
• Ensure proper lockout/tagout and identify safety risks
• Maintain housekeeping and support continuous improvement / lean initiatives

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing or packaging environment
• Ability to read technical diagrams and follow SOPs
• Basic computer skills (CMMS, spreadsheets, reporting)
• Associate’s degree or technical training preferred
  (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Safety-focused, reliable, and team-oriented

Physical & Work Environment:

• Lift up to 65 lbs.; climb, bend, reach, and work at heights
• Loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving machinery
