Pay: $30s–$40s/hour

Construction Technology Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Construction Technology Specialist to provide service support for John Deere SmartGrade, Topcon, and other machine control solutions. In this role, you will provide first-level support for both internal and external users and work closely with the Murphy Tractor Precision Construction Specialist team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a recognized service provider and maintain expertise in machine control systems.
• Install, calibrate, and prepare machine control systems; verify operation prior to customer and dealer machine delivery.
• Support and diagnose issues with machine control systems; perform repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with service technicians and technical support from machine control suppliers to resolve issues.
• Provide training to customers and team members on SmartGrade, Topcon, Trimble, and other systems.

Training Requirements

• Complete all required John Deere SmartGrade, Topcon, and applicable training.
• Learn new systems and stay updated on construction technology advancements.
• Assist with training customers and staff as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry heavy objects; work on and around heavy equipment.
• Work on construction sites and travel as needed, including overnight trips.
• Work outdoors year-round in adverse weather conditions.

Experience & Skills

• Some knowledge of grade control solutions and construction technology.
• Understanding of construction equipment and job site applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues; reading machinery schematics is a plus.
• Prior mechanical experience, preferably with heavy equipment; welding experience preferred.
