Equipment Technician (Humphrey, NE)

Position Summary:
Now hiring an experienced Equipment Technician to join a growing team in Humphrey, NE. This role includes diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining tractors, combines, sprayers, and other ag machinery—both in the shop and out in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and related components
• Complete routine maintenance (oil changes, filters, lubrication, etc.)
• Use diagnostic tools, software, and service manuals
• Document repairs and maintain accurate service records
• Travel to customer sites for on-site repairs as needed
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3–5 years of experience with heavy or agricultural equipment (preferred)
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
• Proficiency with diagnostics and technical schematics
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork

Schedule & Pay:

• Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM; every other Sat, 8 AM–Noon
• Pay: $20–$40/hr based on experience
• Incentives: Potential to earn an effective rate of $55–$60/hr through performance incentives
