Critical Leadership Position: As General Manager Portfolio, you will lead the operational, financial, and strategic management of multiple properties, ensuring high performance across the Curtin University portfolio. You will oversee teams, drive occupancy and revenue, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements. With a strong focus on customer service, financial accountability, team development, and property presentation, you’ll deliver an exceptional resident experience whilst propelling the growth and reputation of the UniLodge brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations and financial performance across multiple properties, ensuring targets are consistently met.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate teams across all sites, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, universities, and owners, establishing strong rapport and delivering great service
- Maximise occupancy and revenue by implementing strategic leasing and marketing initiatives, along with proactive rate management.
- Oversee the financial performance of the portfolio by delivering accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Our Ideal Candidate: With 4+ years’ experience, you will be a proactive property leader with strong people management and leaderships; with the ability to oversee multiple teams. You will have previous experience in a hotel, student accommodation or similar industry and possess a high level of financial acumen and a passion for refining our resident experience. - Valid National Police Check
- Unrestricted Working Rights in Australia
- Valid Real Estate and Business Agents Licence (or be willing to obtain).
- High level problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- A proven track record in stakeholder engagement and customer service excellence
- Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills.
