About the Role:

This is far more than a traditional property management role. As General Manager, you will be entrusted with the overall success of a flagship community, balancing commercial performance with hospitality-driven customer experience to ensure 899 Collins continues to set the benchmark for Build-to-Rent living.
  
Working closely with senior leadership, clients and onsite teams, you will provide oversight across the full asset lifecycle, including leasing, operations, compliance, stakeholder engagement, maintenance and team leadership. You will bring a commercially astute and hands-on approach, ensuring the asset continues to perform at its highest potential.

A Day in the Life:  

• Leading the overall operational and financial performance of the asset
• Driving leasing, occupancy and resident retention outcomes
• Identifying opportunities to enhance NOI and asset value
• Delivering exceptional resident experience and community engagement initiatives
• Building, mentoring and empowering a high-performing onsite team
• Managing key client and stakeholder relationships
• Overseeing compliance, risk management and legislative requirements
• Managing budgets, forecasting, reporting and asset planning
• Ensuring the asset is maintained to the highest standards of presentation and operation.

About You:
  
Essence Communities is on the lookout for a confident and engaging leader with a strong background in property, asset or Build-to-Rent management. To this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience within residential, Build-to-Rent, commercial or retail property environments
• Strong leasing and asset performance expertise
• Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams
• Outstanding stakeholder and relationship management skills
• Current Estate Agent’s Licence/Completed Cert IV in Real Estate Practice (VIC).
• AU Working Rights & Valid National Police Check.
