A New Zealand owned and operated hotel located in the Auckland Airport Precinct is seeking a passionate and motivated Pastry Chef to join the team on a casual, rostered basis. This role will support both the A la carte restaurant and conference operations, helping to meet short term staffing needs within the Kitchen Department and ensure smooth day-to-day service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, bake, and present pastries, desserts, and baked goods to a high standard
Assist with daily production for service, catering, and special events
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and food safety procedures
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering when required
Support the wider kitchen team during peak service periods
Comply with all food hygiene and health & safety regulations
