A fast-growing telecommunications services company delivering structured cabling and ICT infrastructure across high-performance environments including Auckland Airport are seeking an experienced and driven Field Manager to lead technicians onsite and bridge the gap between the office and the field.
This is not a desk job. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role. You will spend most of your time onsite (around 75%) running teams, managing safety, and ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading technicians onsite across long-term and complex projects
Managing daily site coordination, sequencing and productivity
Acting as organisations representative with main contractors and clients
Driving quality, safety, and programme compliance
Providing clear progress updates, risks, and constraints to Project Managers
and Operations
Job Requirements:
Strong background in structured cabling and ICT infrastructure
Proven experience leading teams onsite
Ability to read drawings and manage install sequencing
Solid H&S mindset, with the confidence to intervene when required
Clear communicator who can represent organisation professionally onsite
Experience in complex commercial environments is a strong advantage
Must pass pre-employment checks. (Ministry of Justice, Drug test, reference check)
Must have full license and reliable transport

Working days & Hours: Mon - Fri, expected start time between 6 and 7 am. finish time between 3:30 - 4:30 pm. 40-45 hours per week
Pay rate: $45 per hour
