Elevate Breast Cancer Network Australia's impact through sport-based fundraising initiatives
Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) stands with Australians affected by breast cancer to ensure their voices drive meaningful change. As the leading breast cancer consumer organisation, we inform, support, connect and advocate driving a sense of connectedness for our community and better outcomes for them and our healthcare system.
Since their inception in 1998, they have built a strong and resilient network of over 250,000 individuals who have received their support. Alongside this network, BCNA work with the broader cohort of health professionals, government, healthcare providers and partners to influence and create a stronger healthcare system.
Now is an exciting time to join Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). As part of an ambitious new strategy, BCNA is creating exciting opportunities for motivated professionals to join the organisation and help shape the future of the organisation. These roles reflect a strong commitment to innovation, strengthening services, and expanding impact to deliver even greater value to the communities BCNA serves. This newly created role represents a rare opportunity to shape the future of BCNA’s sport-based fundraising at a pivotal moment in the organisation’s evolution.
As Sport Fundraising Manager, you will lead the development, delivery and growth of BCNA’s sport, running and trekking fundraising portfolio. Under the general direction of the Head of Income and Innovation, you will evolve established initiatives, such as Play4BCNA, while building new and emerging opportunities that harness the energy of sport, community and movement.
You will bring fundraising products to life by galvanising communities and delivering high‑performing peer‑to‑peer fundraising campaigns that inspire people to champion BCNA’s cause and turn passion into sustainable income. Working closely with the Brand, Engagement and Income teams, you will leverage data, insights and creativity to test new approaches, optimise performance and drive growth. You will also collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently, effectively and with a strong focus on supporter engagement.
