Reporting to the Founder/CEO and working closely with a collaborative and dynamic consulting and support team, you will manage end‑to‑end executive and specialist search assignments and provide ongoing client and candidate support.

You will lead client relationships and act as a trusted advisor, working with organisations that deliver meaningful social and environmental impact, recruiting diverse roles including CEO, senior leadership and general management, as well as specialist positions in fundraising and philanthropy, corporate services, government relations, research and policy, marketing and communications, people and culture and operations.

Building strong and genuine rapport with clients and candidates, developing deep sector knowledge, networks and credibility within the NFP sector will be crucial to your success. You will lead recruitment projects from the initial briefing through to the confirmation of the successful candidate, managing the full 360 recruitment process with confidence and sound judgement.

Our work is consultative, with a strong focus on relationships, quality, judgement and long‑term partnerships. In this role, you will lead the full 360 recruitment process and play a key part in ongoing account management, business development and sector engagement. Gembridge has deep relationships and continue to build a healthy pipeline of new opportunities through referrals, industry networks and active involvement with sector partners.

About You

You will bring:

• A proven track record in recruitment (internal or agency), or significant experience within the NFP or for‑purpose sector
• Confidence advising senior leaders and stakeholders, with the credibility to act as a trusted partner
• The ability to lead recruitment searches with autonomy, sound judgement and discretion
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management capability
• The capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects and timelines
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and credibility with people at all levels
• A professional, considered approach, a growth mindset and a solutions-focused attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to listen, negotiate and influence effectively
• A commitment to customer service, continuous improvement and adding value
• Sound IT capability, including Microsoft Office, CRM databases (ideally JobAdder), Outlook, LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter, Zoom and Teams
