We’re partnering with a leading beverage manufacturer to secure a  Technical Writer / document controller who can hit the ground running and bring structure, clarity, and efficiency to critical batch documentation.
This is a high-impact, short-term assignment where you’ll play a key role in improving how production records are written, used, and maintained on site.

The Opportunity:
You’ll join a busy manufacturing environment that has recently introduced Good Documentation Practice (ALCOA+). While the foundations are in place, documentation requires refinement—batch records need to be clearer, more consistent, and easier for teams to use in real time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Reviewing and rewriting batch documentation and standard operating procedures to improve usability and compliance
• Eliminating inefficiencies such as gaps, cross-outs, and unclear instructions
• Designing cleaner, more structured forms and records
• Supporting improvements to documentation systems, including Excel-based data integration with master specifications
• Working closely with production and quality teams to ensure documents are practical and fit-for-purpose

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven technical writing experience within FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing (beverage highly advantageous)
• Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practice / GMP standards
• Confident Excel user, capable of working with structured data and supporting system improvements
• A proactive contractor who can quickly assess, prioritise, and deliver improvements in a fast-paced environment

The Details:

• Temporary assignment expected to run for 3-4 months
• Immediate start
• Hours: 8-hour days with flexible start times (early starts available)
• Training and onboarding support provided
