This is a very, very solid opportunity for an Intermediate Laravel engineer who wants:

long-term stability (without being permanent),
exposure to real SaaS scaling work,
and the chance to grow under strong senior leadership.

foundU is bringing on a contractor squad for a 21-month fixed term engagement, supporting two major streams:

QoL uplift (performance, maintainability, platform improvements)
internal user management integration (auth alignment + interoperability)

The role

You'll be hands-on in the backend, working across:

Laravel feature delivery
API development
MySQL database work
test coverage improvements
delivery across both QoL + integration workstreams

You'll be supported by senior engineers, but still expected to own your work and contribute confidently.

You'll be a great fit if you...

have 2-5 years commercial Laravel experience (rough guide)
can work across backend features and APIs with confidence
enjoy learning systems deeply and improving them
like being part of a proper delivery squad (not solo contracting)

Contract details

Fixed term contract: 21 Months
Hybrid: 1 day in office (Milton)
