Now, about you… Director of Engineering & Product Delivery
Reporting into the COO, you’ll take full ownership of the Product and Engineering delivery engine.
This isn’t a role for maintaining the status quo. This is a defining moment to step in, raise the bar, and build an engineering function that consistently delivers on what it promises.
You’ll have a true seat at the leadership table, with real influence and full backing from day one. Leading a small but mighty senior engineering squad of six, you’ll partner closely with Product and take full accountability for turning roadmap into reality.
The first 12 months are hands-on by design. Sleeves rolled up, deep in the detail, setting the pace and standard from the front.
You’re in sprint planning. You’re shaping code conversations. You’re driving delivery reviews. You’re lifting the bar right across the board.
The immediate focus? ✅ Lift delivery consistency and predictability across the team
✅ Bring structure to how work is broken down, sequenced, and shipped
✅ Strengthen engineering quality, standards, and accountability
✅ Improve sprint discipline, planning clarity, and follow-through
✅ Create a delivery function the business can actually rely on

Long term: building a modern engineering function that balances speed, quality, and scale in an AI-shaped world.

You’ll step in, tighten execution, lift standards - and bring the team with you.
You Are… • A hands-on engineering leader (7–12+ years) in SaaS or complex tech
• Proven in lifting delivery standards and team accountability
• Deeply technical - architecture, code reviews, system design
• Clear, direct, and outcome-focused
• Strong perspective on AI/LLMs and modern engineering teams
• Comfortable in startup environments — fast, imperfect, high ownership
• Bonus: Kotlin, TypeScript, or similar modern stacks
• Bonus: EOS (or similar frameworks)
