Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established, privately owned building services provider at a large business park in Reading.
 
This is a static, Monday to Friday role, working as part of a resident engineering team, responsible for maintaining landlord plant across a commercial estate. While the role is electrically biased, the successful engineer will also carry out basic mechanical maintenance as part of a multi-skilled team.
 
The Role:

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on landlord services
• Reactive electrical fault finding and repairs
• Carrying out basic mechanical maintenance on plant such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps and valves
• Working closely with other engineers and site management to ensure smooth site operation
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• 18th Edition desirable
• Previous experience in a commercial building services environment
• Comfortable undertaking basic mechanical tasks alongside electrical duties
• Team player with good communication skills
