This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a high-profile commercial contract based in London Bridge. The successful engineer will be mechanically qualified and will work a continental shift pattern covering days and nights, as part of a large, established on-site maintenance team.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works, and emergency response across this prestigious site, which forms part of a flagship commercial estate for the business.

Duties

• PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance
• AHUs and FCUs
• Pumps (bearings, mechanical seals)
• Water treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
• Cooling towers
• Tap temperature monitoring
• Chilled water systems
• Heat exchangers
• Plumbing
• Generators
• Pressurisation units
• BMS operation
• CRAC units
• Motors

Requirements

• Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent
• Apprenticeship trained (desirable)
• Minimum of 5 years’ building services maintenance experience
• Strong client-facing skills
• Driven, organised, and methodical approach

Package

• £50,000 – £52,000 per annum
• Continental shift pattern (days and nights)
