Loader / Excavator Operator | $70–$80/hr | 2:1 Roster | Start 29 September 2026

Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking an experienced Loader/Excavator Operator to join our client's team on a 2:1 roster, commencing 29 September 2026.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator looking for ongoing work, a solid roster and competitive rates.

THE ROLE
You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating loaders and excavators across site, supporting production and general earthmoving activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate loaders and excavators
• Complete daily pre-starts and equipment inspections
• Perform bulk earthworks, material movement and general earthmoving duties
• Load and move materials safely and efficiently
• Work to production targets and site requirements
• Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance requirements
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping around operating areas
• Follow all site safety procedures and environmental requirements
• Work effectively as part of a wider site team

ABOUT YOU
To be successful, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience operating loaders and excavators
• Previous experience in mining, civil, quarrying or earthmoving environments
• Relevant tickets and VOCs for the machinery you operate
• Strong safety awareness and commitment
• Ability to work effectively on a 2:1 roster
• Reliable and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current driver's licence
